Meet your Optician -
My name is Amy, and I have been a Connecticut licensed optician for 13 years, and have worked in the optical industry for approximately 17 years. I love what I do.......every single day !!

My decision to add Optical into the wellness offerings of my business has been life changing. I needed to find a way to offer my optical knowledge and services that makes sense for my customers and patients.

So, three years later in business, Path 2 Sight was born. I opened that part of my business in August of 2025.
I do not take insurance. Why, because insurance is exactly what drives up the costs of everything and certain ones often dictate what products you can sell. I need to be able to offer the best of the best to my customers at a fair price.
I also needed to find a way to embrace the growing trend of online shopping for eyeglasses and contact lenses. I support it, but only in some ways. My solution to bridging the gap between an in store, hands on experience and online, is to offer maintenance program to offer a consultation to go over the prescription and what it means, what lenses you may want to order, to uncover your needs and wants in a pair of eyewear. I can take measurements for you, check your prescription when you receive your glasses, and adjust them for you.
Additionally, I wanted to offer a service where I could go to the patient, if they cannot come to me, so I also offer mobile opticianry services.

I became an optician because I fell in love with the industry, and I want to help you see and look your best. I will always go the extra mile for my patients and will welcome you into my shop with a smile !!!
